Plays, Adaptations, Short Stories and Talks on Radio

On this page you find chronological listings of all the known plays, short stories and adaptations of Timperley's novels that were broadcast on British radio from 1951 to 1987. As you will see from the list below, Timperley was very prolific in this field, particularly in the 1960s. In addition, I have listed those radio shows that aired talks the author gave on several subjects, including memoirs from her personal life, such as her time working as an agony aunt for Reveille magazine. I would like to give a special thank you to Chris Lynch for bringing all this information (sourced from the Radio Times) to my attention. I will also note here that a selection of Timperley's archived radio plays and short stories are now available to listen to on the Archive.org, YouTube and BBC websites.
